from his earliest recollections, Peter always
wanted to be an artist. His grandmother was a prolific oil painter
- ala Grandma
Moses? [ as well as his father...
and his father ]
her apartment routinely filled
top-to-bottom
with paintings in various stages of completion...
bathed in the smell of linseed oil. His uncle was the Director of the School of Architecture
at Ohio State for 20 years so needless to say, the art /
architecture influences were early and strong. |

after high school, he was accepted at Northeastern University in Boston
but instead, enlisted in the U.S. Navy to See
the world!"...
he subsequently graduated from The Armed Forces Air Intelligence
Training Center at Lowry AFB in Denver ... |
| |
... this
in-turn
led to his station assignment on the aircraft carrier U.S.S. Forrestal.
Peter's job description was Photo Intelligence,
responsible for pilot intelligence briefing support, photography
of area Soviet military shipping in the Mediterranean
and the review /
analysis /
processing of classified aerial photography. Peter
held a Top Secret /
AtomalSIOPESI
clearance. |

upon exit from the Navy, he studied at The
Art Institute of Boston while also working as a structural engineering draftsman for several Boston and Cambridge firms before relocating to Florida, where he attended
a community college, studying Art & Architectural
Design. Answering the burning desire
to produce art and work for himself, he established pbeach
illustration! and there began a long and successful career as a freelance
illustrator and designer. [ with 15+ years in several Boston
metro locations, Peter now calls South Florida home... endless summer anyone? ] |
